ROUNDERS
Today Y6 hosted a Rounders Festival for the Sports Partnership. It was a great afternoon and the children were extremely resilient in the sizzling heat of the afternoon. Well done to Birdwell Sports Leaders for doing lots of running around looking after others, running score cards, and filling up iced water jugs to keep everyone hydrated, so a big shout out to them. Congratulations to Hoyland Springwood on winning the competition and Birdwell and West Meadows for joint second places, losing out by just one point to the winners. Well done to all schools for making the afternoon a success.
