At Birdwell, we believe that a school uniform fosters a sense of community, pride, and equality among our students. Our uniform policy aims to provide clear and comprehensive guidelines to ensure that all students are dressed appropriately for school activities throughout the year.
On this page, you will find detailed information about the required and optional items of our uniform, seasonal attire variations, branding requirements, and purchasing options. Additionally, we provide guidance on where to buy both new uniform from our supplier ‘Vortex Clothing’ and second-hand uniform from our in-school swap shop, ensuring affordability and accessibility for all families.
We are committed to keeping the cost of school uniform as low as possible for families. To support this, we have carefully limited the number of items that must be purchased from a specific retailer. Most items of our school uniform can be purchased from a wide range of retailers, including supermarkets, online stores, and local shops. Unless specified in our uniform policy below, these items do not need to be branded but need to be the appropriate colour and can be bought wherever offers the best value.
Please read through our uniform policy to help your child be prepared and comfortable for their school day.
