Releasing the butterflies..
Year 2 have really enjoyed watching the caterpillars change into butterflies. We have monitored them each day and observed them in every stage of their metamorphisis.
Today it was time to release them.
They enjoyed some fresh orange slices before flying off in the sunshine.
What a lovely afternoon for Year 2!
